TRAUMA AND MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY
Just because you take vitamins/minerals, it doesn’t mean your body is absorbing/assimilating/using them! Even if you currently take magnesium, please read this.
A person in fight/flight/freeze/survival mode 24/7 (result of trauma) uses up MASSIVE amounts of Magnesium. Most people (as we’ve ALL had trauma) are magnesium deficient and some experts say the average person is six months deficient!
Minerals in water are assimilated better than minerals in food. Adrenal/kidney stress and dehydration create mineral deficiency, especially magnesium and zinc - both critical for digestion.
Magnesium is stored in our cells, bones and organs and is used daily in 300+ biochemical reactions in the body. It’s an antidote to stress and the most powerful relaxation mineral available (especially for muscles and brain).
It’s the most important mineral for the nervous system, cellular energy production, sleep, blood sugar regulation, blood pressure/circulation etc, and dramatically changes the muscle tests of clients with arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, MS and Parkinson’s.
If you are currently taking magnesium, yet are in fight/flight/freeze/survival, then it’s like trying to fill a bathtub with no plug in it. Unless you address the cause -TMJ/Trauma, you will not be able to get enough absorbed into your body. Once TMJ/trauma is addressed,
the most effective method for absorption and increasing levels is through the skin via Epsom salt baths or magnesium spray on the body for a minimum of 20 minutes a day. Questions or queries? Feel free to contact me.
